The hotel was great, appreciated street view from our double room. The location was marvellous, relatively near a market square. It was also right by a cafes and Old town and port, bus station and train and medina and the marina, city beach

I can say that is hotel is almost a scam, in the map that they show it looks like the hotel is in the center, but its not!!! They give a wrong location in the map and you should just guide yourself from the street name! In the entrance the hotel looks abondened, and they make a differente price from the one they show on Booked.net. And you dont feel welcomed at all!

Helpfull guy at reception within his limits
This air-conditioned property has never been air-conditioned except managers office. The rooms - I changed from one to another - were very hot till about 2 in the morning even though it was cool outside. My balcony was a rooftop surrounded by high concrete walls and accessed by several rooms. I slept out there till the room got cooler. There is no telephone in the room. There is no tv in the room. There are no power outlets in room for tv or charging phones. There is no WiFi in the room - lounge area only. There is no functioning restaurant or meal service whatsoever. There is no 24 hour reception - The good guy works 8am to 8pm. Early checkout requires settlement prior night before 8pm. There is no credit card facilities. Terminal broken for many years - who cares Light bulbs missing from fittings - request fix - sure ok - nothing happens. Plumbing leaks 24/7. I had a single occupancy double room by request and they wanted to charge the city tax for 2 persons. Not much money involved but on principle I refused. It appears the "Boss" has this attitude of "slug the tourists, they can afford it!" In short this place hardly functions. The boss strikes fear into the staff, who are reluctant to address your complaints for fear or retribution

- Hotel staff (one of them) was very friendly and helpful. He was willing to give us directions written in three different languages, and went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay - The room was simple but comfortable enough for a couple night stay - The bathroom was quite large for Moroccan standards
- Although a telephone was quoted as included with the room, the phone line was cut - The shower head could not attach to the wall properly. Water pressure and temperature were also both low - Genrally a fairly drab and dated hotel room - no atmosphere or clean feeling - Although satisfactory, value for money was not so great

It had a good lounge area with tv and wifi where you could get away from the heat. The staff found us a map when we asked for one.
The description on the internet wasn't correct - the map on Booked.net shows somewhere where it isn't so don't use that map to try and get there (just use the address), our room didn't have a balcony (just a window that opened up to other peoples windows), breakfast or dinner wern't offered during ramadan. The area that it is in is not touristy and during ramadan there is nowhere to eat around there so it is worth while going to the supermarket during the day to get some food or getting a taxi into a touristy area. The bathroom was a little run down and the sink leaked over the bathroom floor.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring nearby cities like Tetuan and Assila. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms offered a nice city view and had all the basic amenities we needed, including air conditioning. Plus, the breakfast was exceptional, with a variety of choices that catered to different preferences.
Minor improvements can be made to ensure a quieter stay.
